That’s why we are talking about sustainability and, wherever possible, we choose only components with low environmental impact for our products. Among other things, we use renewable materials, optimise and reduce packaging and avoid non-recyclable raw materials as well as environmentally hazardous substances in accordance with the statutory regulations (REACh, ROHS, etc.). In addition, at JUNGHANS Defence we conduct regular environmental compatibility studies, prefer CO2-neutral transportation and we have developed an internal waste reduction programme.

Whether it’s a reduction in energy consumption at our company or we’re developing ever smaller batteries or more economical electronic fuzes: energy efficiency plays an important role in our thoughts on sustainability. In order to ensure this in the best possible way, we maintain a functioning energy management system according to DIN EN ISO 50001. With continuous process control and optimisation, we continually improve the energy-related services in the company and actively contribute to energy savings.
Taking into account all the legal requirements towards an energy-efficient company – that is our claim and the core message of our company’s energy policy.
